Who we are

Fíor is a community listings board for spiritual and holistic gatherings in Ireland. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us any time at hello@fíor.ie.

What we collect

  • Account details — your name, email address and the password hash held by our authentication provider, or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google.
  • Listing details — anything you enter when you post an event, including a contact email that is kept private and shown only to you and our moderators.
  • Booking details — the events you book, ticket quantities, ticket codes and arrival check-ins.
  • Payout details — the bank details you give us so we can send you ticket revenue, plus a record of each payout request.
  • Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and anonymous page-view counts for listings.

Why we use it

We use your information to run your account, publish and moderate listings, issue and verify tickets, send transactional email (booking confirmations, sign-in links, password resets), pay out ticket revenue, and keep the platform safe from spam and abuse. Our legal bases are performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interest in a safe and functioning service, and our legal obligations around payments and record-keeping.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share only what is necessary with the services that run Fíor: our hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider, and Stripe for ticket payments. When you book a ticket, the event host sees your name, email address and booking status so they can run the event and manage the door.

How long we keep it

Account and listing data is kept while your account is open. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. Technical logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or ask for it in a portable format. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

We use a small number of essential cookies. Read the cookie policy for details.
